About Repeatnic online flashcards

Hi, I’m Adrian. I’m a software engineering manager who loves creating tools solving my own problems.

I’m always learning new things, and currently have a large number of new Japanese words, Kanji characters, and keyboard shortcuts to remember. I’ve been using online flashcards with longer intervals between reviews – an SRS or Spaced Repetition System – to help me remember things for years, but lately I’ve found it wasn’t working well for my use case. So I decided to create my own.

Enter Repeatnic

Repeatnic provides me online flashcards, across both mobile and desktop, helping me remember things using a spaced repetition system. It takes my response to a flashcard, rates it on accuracy, and schedules the next review based on that. I’m finding it far more effective than the other tools I’ve used before. Mainly because I was supposed to judge how good my memory was, rather than have an objective tool doing that for me.

It’s designed to be fast and easy to use, with a focus on a clean, simple interface. It’s still in development, but I’m excited to share it with you soon.
